⚓ LOCOPIAS – Smarter Onboard Loading Software

LOCOPIAS is SARC’s onboard loading computer, delivered to more than 1,500 vessels worldwide. Built for reliability and precision, it allows crew members to prepare, simulate, and validate loading conditions for a wide variety of ship types — including container ships.

With our newly developed container module, LOCOPIAS offers:

  • Clear container visualization by bay, stack, and tier

  • Automatic lashing checks based on vessel-specific configurations

  • IMDG compliance validation: segregation, stowage, and deck/hold placement

  • BAPLIE import to pre-fill container data automatically

  • Optional tank sounding import for accurate liquid condition setup

LOCOPIAS does not operate in real-time, but uses clearly defined loading conditions that can be entered manually or partially automated via data import. This method ensures fast, reliable assessments of stability, strength, and compliance — all running locally, offline, and under full user control.

🧪 EDI-IMDG Validation Tool – Fast Compliance Check

In addition to onboard solutions, we offer the EDI-IMDG Validation Tool — a stand alone system that lets you validate your container loading plan (via BAPLIE or other EDI formats) against IMDG Code requirements in just a few clicks.

  • Supports up to BAPLIE v3.1 container formats

  • Instantly flags segregation conflicts and hazardous combinations

  • Easy to use, without needing to open a full loading computer system

  • Ideal for planners, superintendents, and safety officers
