PIAS module: Propeller
With this module the propeller properties can be computed, according to four well-known published methods: B-series, Ka-series (ducted propellers) Gawn and AU. This module does not only compute trust and torque for a given propeller, but also includes optimization functions to determine optimal propeller parameters. The ship’s resistance data can either be typed as input, or be imported from PIAS’ resistance module. Output both in tables and graphs.
