🌟 Spotlight: Hagland Polaris
One of the highlights of this quarter is the Hagland Polaris, the fourth Hybrid Eco Trader 4850 DWT vessel built by Royal Bodewes for Hagland Shipping.
Delivered on 21 April 2026, the vessel continues the successful series of battery-hybrid vessels developed to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Following the delivery of the previous three vessels in the series, the Hagland Polaris builds further on this proven concept and is designed to support more sustainable cargo operations.
After delivery, the vessel commenced her maiden voyage to begin commercial operations, carrying the first cargoes with the benefits of modern hybrid technology and optimized vessel performance.
With LOCOPIAS installed on board, the Hagland Polaris is equipped with a reliable loading computer solution that supports safe and efficient operations throughout her service life.
