🚢 LOCOPIAS Expands – New Installations in May, from Gas Tankers to General Cargo Vessels

In May, a wide range of vessels were equipped with LOCOPIAS, SARC’s advanced loading computer software. From gas tankers to general cargo ships and RoRo vessels, these new installations highlight LOCOPIAS’ flexibility across various ship types and operations.

🎉 From the North Sea to the South Pacific – these vessels now benefit from enhanced loading safety, compliance, and operational insight.

🌊 Spotlight: Hawaikinui 2

A highlight this month is Hawaikinui 2, a purpose-built RoRo vessel constructed by Royal Bodewes for the Polynesian Navigation Company (SNP). Designed for inter-island service in French Polynesia, the vessel features:

  • 87 meters length

  • 2,000 DWT capacity

  • Space for 104 TEU

  • Facilities for 12 passengers

  • Built to handle tropical conditions and versatile cargo operations

With LOCOPIAS onboard, Hawaikinui 2 benefits from advanced load planning capabilities to support its unique routing and cargo profile.

We’re working on something exciting: Multi Window support.

Soon, users will be able to work with multiple views at once—modifying tanks in one window while adjusting containers in another, with real-time updates across the interface. LOCOPIAS already recalculates instantly after each change, and this new feature takes usability to the next level.
