The Tanks module is a fundamental part of LOCOPIAS, included by default in nearly every installation — because every vessel has tanks. From fuel, ballast, and fresh water to complex cargo tank arrangements, this module offers a clear, graphical overview of all tank contents.
With an intuitive interface, users can view, adjust, and simulate tank loading conditions directly on the vessel’s tank plan. Tanks are automatically organized into relevant weight groups, making it easy to assess the impact of any loading change on the ship’s stability and draft. You can modify quantities by clicking directly on tanks, using sliders, or entering exact values — with instant updates reflected in the loading condition.
For even greater accuracy, the module can be extended with real-time sensor integration. This allows tank contents to be read directly from on-board systems, giving a live and precise overview of your vessel’s actual loading status.
