Role and responsibilities
SARC is leading in the maritime industry in terms of naval architectural software. Currently 15 people work at SARC, almost all naval architects. The employees of SARC share the passion for maritime technology. At SARC one works ongoing for the further development and implementation of software focused on ship design. Working at SARC is therefore challenging and dynamic. To remain successful the company has ambitious objectives and high standard requirements.
Within SARC, the programmers are responsible for the specification, design, integration, qualification, and sustaining of all SARC products.
You will be involved in the development of new modules, solving bugs, helping with larger projects in the shipbuilding industry, developing software links, helping with European projects, test the required software specifications. etc.
Education
You have a BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Naval architecture, Mathematics, Physics or similar technical domain.
Experience as software engineer with software applications.
