Noordzee Inland waterway tanker

For ALPHATECHNIQUE B.V. we have made a complete new hullform design for an inland waterway chemical tanker.

The propulsion is arranged by two Z-drive rudder propellers. The engineroom is positioned in the aftpeak above the Z-drives. Remarkable is the spacious accommodation over the full breath of the vessel.

We first made a rough model which was converted to NUPAS which allowed Alphatechnique to start with the constructional design. In the mean time SARC faired the vessel and when this was ready a new NUPAS model was made. In this model the already defined construction parts could easily be converted to the new hull form.

Finally SARC made the intact and damage stability calculations according the ADNR criterion for chemical tankers.
