The new PIAS / Fairway module PhotoShip makes it possible to recreate an existing hull shape in form of a solid model, that can be processed by Fairway. This is done by photogrammetry, calculating the 3D coordinates of measuring points using reference points and photos.

To prove the potential of PhotoShip and the practical feasibility of photogrammetry as a method for reconstruction, the "7 Provinciën" was reconstructed.
